A PORTFOLIO for PROVINCETOWN: We are pleased to announce a special portfolio of photographs by renowned photographer JEFFERSON HAYMAN.

The Provincetown Portfolio consists of twelve carefully selected Archival Pigment Prints and one introductory image, all on archival 100 lb. matte surface paper presented in a boxed set with titled overlays. The photographs have been selected by the photographer as a note to Provincetown and consist of nine images taken of the town and surrounding seashore during the last three years and four images from the photographer's studio. The suite of images specifically addresses aspects of the Cape's landscape such as time, nostalgia, light, memory, journeying, and art history. The photographs range in size from one miniature ('Fence' is printed at 3.75" x 1.5" and is a lovely nod to Paul Strand) to 12x10", just inside the edges of the 12x16" paper. The portfolio is being produced as an edition of twenty-five boxed sets.

Art Installation at Model Residence in new W Hotel Boston.

Designer: Mark Christofi
Artwork: Adam Davies, Karen Coombs

The gallery is once again pleased to work with Mark Christofi Interiors, this time to provide artwork for their design for a model residence at Boston's new W Hotel. Mark selected gallery artist Adam Davies' 'Castle Road, Truro' image for presentation in the living area. We installed it suspended from cables in front of a bronze mirror. Karen Combs also provided three paintings on paper installed against a fantastic green wall in one smaller room. The project can also be seen in the May/June issue of Design New England.

DINING BY DESIGN 2007
2007 marked the 10th Anniversary of DINING BY DESIGN presented by ELLE DECOR and GE MONOGRAM. Dubbed the "Cannes of Tabletop" by filmmaker John Waters, DIFFA's DINING BY DESIGN is an opportunity for various corporations and designers to showcase their creativity and talents by creating unique dining installations to ultimately accommodate their dinner guests.

Schoolhouse Gallery Owner/Director Mike Carroll collaborated with Mark Christofi Interiors for this event held on November 30 and December 1, 2007 at Boston’s Black Falcon Pier. Mr. Christofi developed his design with artists Bob Bailey and Michelle Weinberg, curated by Mr. Carroll, and with the furniture design and production firm Tall Tree Guild to produce Mark Christofi Interior’s contribution to this lavish event.

Dining by Design is produced by Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS in various US cities. DIFFA is one of the country's largest supporters of direct care for people living with HIV/AIDS and preventive education for those at risk.  The Boston event’s beneficiary organization was Community Research Initiative (CRI) - an independent, nonprofit community-based organization dedicated to leading the way in HIV/AIDS clinical research.
